Privacy
What I do with your information.
Short version: I collect the least I can, I don't sell anything to anybody, this website sets no tracking cookies, and your photographs are never uploaded anywhere.
Who I am
Verde Valley Photo Preservation is a sole trader business owned and run by Bobby McKinley in Cottonwood, Arizona. If you have a question about anything on this page, call me on (928) 499‑9489.
Information you send me through this website
If you fill in the enquiry form, I receive your name, your phone number, your email address, your rough photo count, and anything you typed in the message box.
I use that to reply to you and to arrange the work. I don't sell it, share it, or pass it to anyone else for marketing.
Emails about offers and tips
There is a tick box on the enquiry form, and it is switched off unless you switch it on. Tick it and I'll email you occasionally with tips on looking after old photographs and the odd offer. Once a month at most.
If you leave it alone, you won't get those emails. Enquiring does not put you on a list. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and you can also just call or text me and I'll take you off.
The form is delivered to my email by a service called Web3Forms, which passes the message on and does not use it for anything else. I keep enquiry emails for as long as I might reasonably need them for the job and my records, and delete them after that.
Your photographs
This is the part that actually matters, so it's worth being specific.
- Your original photographs stay in my possession only while I'm working on them, and come back to you.
- The scans are made on my own equipment and stored on my own computer while the job is in progress.
- Nothing is uploaded to a cloud service, a photo site, or anywhere on the internet.
- Once you have your USB drive and have confirmed everything is on it, I delete my working copies.
- I don't use your photographs as examples, on social media, or anywhere else, unless you specifically tell me I can.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies at all. There is no advertising pixel, no session recording and no third-party tracker.
I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visited and which pages they looked at. It is cookieless, it does not fingerprint your device, and it does not collect anything that identifies you personally. That's why you aren't being asked to accept a cookie banner. There's nothing to accept.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, their servers keep short-term technical logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site running and to block attacks. I don't have access to those logs for marketing purposes and don't use them.
Your choices
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, at any time. Call or text (928) 499‑9489 and I'll sort it out. There is no form to fill in.
Children
This site isn't aimed at children and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
